The Life Cycle Assessment team have worked closely with the following major clients:

Yarra Valley Water - A retail water company, Yarra Valley Water provide water supply and sewerage services in the Yarra River catchment area of Melbourne. The Centre for Design has worked with Yarra Valley Water in undertaking a life cycle assessment and life cycle costing of water tanks as a supplement to mains water system. Australian Greenhouse Office - The Australian Greenhouse Office (AGO) is the world's first government agency dedicated to cutting greenhouse gas emissions. It was established in 1998 as a separate agency within the environment portfolio to provide a whole of government approach to greenhouse matters. The Centre for Design has worked on a range of projects including assessment of alternative fuels and a review of life cycle energy analysis.

Sustainability Victoria - (formerly EcoRecycle Victoria) Sustainability Victoria is a state government agency that provides information and advice to business, government and the community about using our resources more efficiently and reducing our everyday environmental impacts. The Centre for Design has undertaken detailed life cycle assessment work on kerbside recycling and more recently on manamagent of the residual waste stream and organic wastes from domestic households.

Dulux Australia - Dulux is part of the Orica Group and is producer of preminum paint products in Australia. The Centre for Design has worked with Dulux on the LCA of different paint product systems and other related product lines.

Environment Australia - Environment Australia advises the Commonwealth Government on policies and programs for the protection and conservation of the environment, including both natural and cultural heritage places. The Centre for Design has undertaken streamlined LCA work on single-use and reusable shopping bags and on degradable plastics for shopping bags. See the paper: LCA of Degradable Plastic Bags
