Plantic Technologies

Plantic Technologies Ltd was formed in 2001 to commercalise technology developed at the Australian Co-Operative Research Centre for International Food Manufacture and Packaging Science. Plantic is a new starch based biopolymer that is water soluble and biodegradable. The Centre for Design has worked with Plantic in modelling a streamlined LCA of their Plantic product and how it compares with conventional plastics.
