The workshop roundtable discussions centred upon five themes:

1. Support that signatories require from the NPC Council
2. How companies can reconcile NPC requirements with consumer driven changes
3. How signatories can reconcile changes being driven by the retailers
4. How consumers can be encouraged to support ‘covenant friendly’ packaging; and
5. Design for recycling wherever possible.
