Trivess Moore, Research Officer

Trivess completed his Bachelor of Environmental Science at Deakin University, majoring in biology and ecology. His Honours project investigated the barriers that exist in the home, preventing increased switching from fossil fuel supply to renewable energies and energy efficiency. In the process, he conducted survey work to establish the levels of knowledge and awareness of consumers as regards climate change and renewable energy technologies.

Since joining the Centre in September 2006, Trivess has developed his interests in both environmental sustainability assessment and the interaction between environmental initiatives and end users. He is keen to pursue further studies and to contribute to more effective policies, programs and education for consumers as a means of achieving an increasingly emission free future.
